Five Years On: Alland & Robert’s Corporate Foundation Shares Its 2025 Activity Report

“Five years ago, the Alland Foundation was born with a bold vision: to create lasting impact and inspire change. Today, as we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on the lives touched, the communities strengthened, and the dreams realized. Here’s to the next chapter of collaboration, tackling challenges together to transform lives !” Frédéric Alland, Corporate Foundation Alland President

A Foundation born from a conviction

We created the Corporate Foundation Alland in 2021 to structure and strengthen our commitments in Africa, in the regions where we source our natural gums. As Frédéric Alland, President of the Foundation, puts it: the Foundation lies at the very heart of our activity, allowing us to build lasting partnerships with the organisations we support in the field.

Our action is focused on two priorities: preserving the environment and biodiversity, through the fight against desertification and reforestation, and supporting local communities, who face drought, land degradation, and limited access to water, education and healthcare.

2025 marks the Foundation’s fifth year

This year, we are celebrating the 5th anniversary of our Corporate Foundation Alland, five years during which our commitments have grown, matured, and taken shape through concrete actions on the ground.

We are proud to share our 2025 Activity Report. This report retraces our journey and highlights the progress made, project after project, thanks to the trust and dedication of our field partners and the communities we work with. It also looks ahead: the challenges of desertification, land degradation, and access to essential resources remain as pressing as ever, and this anniversary is an opportunity for us to reaffirm our long-term engagement alongside the organisations we support.

Five years of action: what results?

The 2025 report takes stock of the past year and of the journey since the Foundation’s creation:

  • Over 23,000 trees planted since 2020 through our partnership with the NGO Tree Aid, protecting 235 hectares of land
  • €35,940 financed in 2024 to five partner organisations
  • €151,922 invested in total since 2021
  • 35,000+ hectares of land brought under sustainable management through the Future Forest project in Ethiopia
  • 26,700 hectares of land restored and 100,000 trees grown in Mali’s Ségou region
  • 894 women supported through market gardening in Chad
  • 425 children supported in Mali who live from tree products

Highlights from 2025:

A closer look at the work carried out with our five partner organisations:

  • Tree Aid: Since 2020, we have funded the planting of over 23,000 trees across the Sahel, helping protect 235 hectares of land. In Mali’s Ségou region, our support has helped Tree Aid’s Forest Governance project restore 26,700 hectares of land and grow 100,000 trees, benefiting 3,000 rural households.
  • SOS Villages d’Enfants: In 2025, we supported an SOS village in Khouloum, Mali, home to 425 supported children, along with advocacy projects for children’s rights in Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Togo.
  • Batali: In N’Gotto, Central African Republic, we financed key materials, including galvanized steel battery pipes that helped bring both hydraulic rams back into working order, restoring regular drinking water distribution to surrounding villages for the first time in years.
  • Aura France: We support women’s autonomy in Chad through Aura’s market gardening activities, which today reach 894 women across 16 active groups, alongside a project distributing refurbished sewing machines — 70 shipped to date, with 50 more awaiting shipment.
  • Triangle Génération Humanitaire: We support TGH’s emergency response for populations affected by the conflict in Sudan’s Darfur region and in Chad’s Ouaddaï province, amid one of the world’s largest displacement crises.
