Our teams focus on developing and promoting sustainable, plant-based product ranges. Our products provide solutions to a wide variety of challenges including incorporating prebiotic fibre, increasing nutritional value, lowering glycaemic index, improving gut health and replacing petrochemical additives.

Alland & Robert products are designed to meet specific nutritional needs including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, gelatine-free and keto diets, as well as low-FODMAP diets ideal for people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Building a talented R&D team

Alland & Robert’s research centre is based in Normandy, France. Led by R&D Director Dr. Isabelle Jaouen, our team develops, tests and enhances products to meet – and exceed – client expectations. The team comprises 8 full-time staff, including microbiology and emulsion specialists, to keep innovation at the top of the agenda.

At the Alland & Robert research centre, we conduct practical studies for clients and develop new applications. The aim? Support clients while providing the safest, most natural and environmentally friendly products for end customers.

Since 2018, Alland & Robert opened a new technological platform for application research and customer training.

Partnering with universities

Alland & Robert has developed close partnerships with various prestigious universities. Deploying R&D programmes enables us to deepen our understanding of different gums with the support of PhD students, master trainees and research teams.

Alland & Robert has a strong partnership with IATE (University of Montpellier, France) – an internationally reputed laboratory specialising in acacia gum.
