We specialise in natural plant exudates – acacia gum is our favorite.
In 1884, chemist Francisque Alland and his partner Alfred Robert created a company to market acacia gum – then known as gum Arabic – and other natural gums and resins in France.
At the time, acacia gum was mainly used in the textile industry to improve printing and give materials extra shine.
Six generations and many innovations later, our 140+-year-old company is now a leading acacia gum expert.
